another artfully done photograph! i was going to get two molys too, i should have just in case i ruin the first one, i'm getting all like... what am I going to draw here? so much pressure!

I got 2 cause they are so hard to find here in KC, but even in SanFran I had a hard time finding a store that had them in stock. The folks at Flax pulled these out of the 'waiting-to be-priced' bucket for me.

I know what you mean about feeling the pressure, but really, no worries about ruining one - the great thing about the thicker paper in the Japanese fold is that if you screw something up you can paint or collage over it and no one will know... not that that's ever happened to me (wink).

Well, yeah. They are too difficult to get hold of here so I'm getting mine shipped in from Italy!

Gabi, I'm glad to hear you say your feeling the pressure too. I haven't even got mine yet, but my palms are alreay sweating just thinking about putting pen to paper. Yikes!

Pressure? What pressure? I've only opened mine 5 times and have felt heart palpitations at the thought of drawing even a crooked line in there. Relaxed, confident, casual (i would even quote Lionel and say "easy as Sunday mornin") -- that's the spirit of the relationship i have already developed with this Japanese Moleskine. This is going to be a walk in the park. I'm all kinds of reassured about this one. Yeah. Piece of cake.
Right.

It is a great photo. It looks like a magazine shot.

France, good to know you ar so relaxed. Of course, that is only your own Moley. Imagine when you get somebody elses. Eeeek.

Oh! I know! I keep picturing myself the cause of a big log jam with everyone's moley stuck at my house cause I'm too scared to do my part and pass it on
