Look what showed up in my box this weekend!!!!!! Wow Miguel...way to set the bar high! Beautiful, beautiful work. I also love the way Miguel included information about the drawing on its reverse side. Why didn't I think of this?
oh Holy crap! that's one of the most amazing things I've seen in I don't know how long and quite frankly - now I'm scared to death! maybe I'll calm down later and, hopefully, have something more eloquent to say but for now, I'm walking away in amazement
(oh, yeah, Suzanne's right. Great idea putting info on the back. Wish I'd thought of it too...)
Oh my God! I've been anticipating this day since we started. It feels real, now. And boy, Miguel, what a start. This is absolutely AMAZING. Wow.
This actually is my favourite MH. The light on the bamboo is stunning. I want to go out and buy something that is made of woven bamboo and draw it. Now. I'm with Juj. I'll never be able to draw in this book.
And, yep, Miguel this would really have suited my theme. Hint, hint.
Wow. I too have been anticipating this moment! The moment I would quietly admit "darn, now I'm really screwed". Miguel, this is superb and I can hardly believe this is going to end up on my lap. *sigh*
I keep coming back to look at this - it still amazes me, and I'm only looking at a picture.
I do have a question tho - Miguel started his book on the very "first" page - the page that is on the back of the "return to/reward" page. I started mine on the first page that is detached from the book in case I ever wanted to (as Gabi suggested) remove it from the cover and hang it on a wall somewhere. What did everyone else do?
i did like you Juj. i think it was actually Miguel who said he was going to frame the pages and put them on the wall. but he probably was too excited to get started, added an extra shot of cognac to the espresso, lit up a cigar, and, you know, next thing he was talking to a bamboo frog ;) but hey, it's his moley, he can do whatever he wants with it, right? now seriously Miguel, jokes aside, this bamboo frog is a masterpiece, it gives me an instant headache to figure out how you were able to draw all that woven bamboo
OMG! What is supposed I should say now... in english!!! I'm so flattered of your comments... thank you, thank you all, I didn't expect such a warm response. I look forward to see what you do because I'm so sure it's enough for you to put your pens over the paper to create beauty. I can't imagine what this will be at the end, and my part will be just a little 16,66% :-D Thank you all again.
For the starting page, I started wrong, or actually I started right but I didn't think I should write anything, it came afterwards and I didn't want to fill too many pages and so I put the long leaves and the writings first. And if the final result is 31, good for me, he, he, he!
I have done the same as Miguel. In fact I used up the exact amount of space and started the same place as him - on the back of the 'return to' page.
I did think I'd gone a bit wrong when I looked at Gabi's Moley drawing. I don't think it matters though does it? Becuase it'll leave a page, or so, at the end of the book for the owner to finish off. That's quite nice, I think. But hey, I drew on the inside cover too! I just can't stop myself.
Juj, I also agree about deleting the message. Not everybody has a Flickr account - so as long as the person who has done the drawing (ie Miguel, this time) has also scanned it then it'll get posted on the group pool somehow, at some point.

only thing, now that i think about it, is that Miguel's moley is going to have 31 pages, so someone gets to draw an extra page
